The Act focuses on the eligibility and obligations of surrogate mothers and intending parents, fulfilling the dreams of many couples seeking to become parents. Commercial surrogacy is not allowed under the Act, as it will exploit many surrogate mothers or children born from surrogacy. Surrogacy laws and regulations vary widely across countries and jurisdictions, with some countries having restrictive laws while others allow surrogacy under certain conditions.
